Calling all teachers, youth workers, and creatives!

As part of our #ImagineAMan project, we want to explore the meaning of positive masculinity with young people. Over February 2023, we will be running a creative competition for young people to produce any art work on what positive masculinity means to them.

This can be anything creative - poem, painting, song, short story, animation, comic, blog, street art, dance performance. It can be shared with us through links, photos, videos, audio clips etc.

What does positive masculinity mean to you?

There are two prizes available:

Individual prize: £100

Group prize: £500

The group prize is for any collective group work. The competition is open to young people aged between 12 and 25.

The deadline for submissions is midnight on Tuesday 28th February 2023. Submissions should be sent to nkbl@youthlinkscotland.org. Please include your name, age, local authority, and whether you are submitting on behalf of a group. We recommend using WeTransfer for large files.

We may contact you to ask permission to use all or part of your artwork for future work on #ImagineAMan. We will not use it without your permission.

The winning entries will be chosen by the Imagine A Man steering group.
